TWIN LOBE BLOWERS

A twin lobe roots blower is a positive displacement blower that uses two rotating lobes to move air. The lobes are mounted on parallel shafts and rotate in opposite directions within a sealed casing. As the lobes rotate, they trap air and move it from one side of the casing to the other. The differential pressure created by the rotating lobes forces the air out of the casing.
